Who We Are
Volkmann Railroad Builders was established in 1975 to meet the needs of railway customers in the Midwest. Our operations have expanded, and we have completed track projects throughout the entire US.
What We Do
We have personnel and equipment to perform quality track work ranging from the smallest track repairs to major construction and rehabilitation. We also have a multi-million dollar bonding capacity if needed. Our scope of expertise also includes engineering layout and design, consulting, design/build options, production surfacing, equipment leasing and sales, and material supply sales.

We work closely with our customers to make sure we provide them with the best service and products for their current and future needs. We are known within our industry for our high quality workmanship, attention to detail and production efficiency.
